Protective encapsulated suit, specially made for use with SE400 positive pressure demand respirator. The SE400 can be fitted with an optional pressurisation hose which maintains a slight positive pressure inside the suit. | |

Use: |
Used to protect the entire body while wearing the SE400 respirator. Outstanding resistance and long permeation times to industrial chemicals and warfare agents in solid, liquid or gaseous form. |

Material: |
Polyamide fabric coated on the outside with chloroprene rubber. The inside is coated with chloroprene rubber and a barrier laminate. |

Seams: |
Double reinforced butt seams stitched with aramide thread and covered on the outside with chloroprene rubber strips and on the inside with welded barrier laminate strips. | |
| Gloves: | Glove assembly of three layers (in accordance with NFPA 1991):
Alternatively, the suit can be delivered with Viton®/butyl gloves. |

| Glove attachment: | Two-ring system. When fitted together, the two rings give a strong and gas-tight seal between the suit and gloves. One ring is attached to the suit and the other used to mount the glove/cuff. | |
| Footwear: |

| Visor: | Impact and chemical resistant transparent 2 mm PVC visor. Very wide and deep field of vision. An additional visor overhead makes it possible to look upwards and see objects overhead. | |
| Zipper: | Long heavy-duty gastight zipper coated with chloroprene rubber. Zippper closes downwards to to give wearer the possibility of checking the zipper position (closed or open) and to reach the zipper pull handle. The zipper is covered by an external splash flap. | |
| Total inward leakage : | One unique feature of the S.E.A. VPS suit is that it can be used with a pressurisation hose which turns the suit into a positive pressure suit. Total inward leakage into the suit if using pressurisation hose is typically 0.1% | |
